Prayer

The Bible is full of stories that illustrate the power of prayer. One thing is certain – God hears our prayers and He answers our prayers. Psalm 6:9 tells us 'The LORD has heard my supplication; The LORD will receive my prayer.'

Prayer brings healing, defeats demons, opens eyes, changes hearts, brings wisdom, brings provision, heals the broken hearted, overcomes enemies and most importantly brings salvation and eternal life. These are just some of the results that come through prayer. It is a wonder that all of us do not spend more time in prayer.

I have recently been challenged to pray for at least one thing every day for six months and see the result of that prayer. I have gone a step further and I am in the process of setting up a new website to set this challenge to as many as will take it up. I hope it will be available shortly.
